Bulk USSD & Bulk Caller
Two Flutter/Kotlin tools for telecom campaigns and on-device call-outcome classification.
The problem
A telecom client needed repeatable bulk dialing and call classification without paid lookup services.
My contribution
Built two applications sharing a licensing and telephony foundation: spreadsheet-driven USSD campaigns and a call classifier.
Engineering decisions
- Use Kotlin background services and InCallService bridges for Android telephony.
- Track results in SQLite and apply timing heuristics by network prefix where call state alone cannot distinguish an answer from a carrier announcement.
Results & evidence
- Installed and running on 10+ client devices across the two applications.
- Shipped signed releases with license activation and tamper detection.
