AtmoTwin
An environmental sensor digital twin with anomaly detection and what-if simulation.
The problem
Sensor values need an expected baseline to distinguish normal behavior from divergence.
My contribution
Built a simulated sensor pipeline, twin predictions, anomaly detection, and a Grafana comparison dashboard.
Engineering decisions
- Compare observed and predicted streams with z-scores and Isolation Forest.
- Run counterfactual scenarios through a separate simulation endpoint.
Results & evidence
- Implemented sensor ingest, real-vs-twin overlays, and what-if scenarios.
- The documented sensor stream is simulated; this case study does not claim a production hardware deployment.
