Built retrieval and generation for environmental questions, with Arabic/English semantic search.
Engineering decisions
- Break retrieval into query understanding, entity extraction, and relevance pruning.
- Use multiple retrieval steps to assemble context before generation.
Results & evidence
- Implemented retrieval for compound questions across Arabic and English content.
- Developed the supporting business plan, including market research, SaaS pricing, and infrastructure cost projections.
