Factory Sentinel
An interactive machine-failure simulator using Markov chains and Bayesian updates.
The problem
Make probabilistic machine health and failure timing explorable.
My contribution
Implemented the simulation and interactive analytics from scratch.
Engineering decisions
- Model four machine states with a Markov chain.
- Update Bayesian posteriors from sensor sliders and use exponential survival functions.
Results & evidence
- Delivered an interactive simulator with embedded analytical plots.
